Your privacy is important to us. Knave Craps is designed to respect your data. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information (PII) such as your name, address, phone number, or physical location.
Knave Craps is published by Knave Software, a brand of Looking for Traffic, LLC. This policy applies to every edition of the game, whether you obtained it from the Microsoft Store, Steam, or the Apple App Store. Where a platform behaves differently, the differences are called out below.
What is collected: Game statistics (number of rolls, chip balance, number distribution, etc.) and your game settings.
Why: This data is saved on your device so your game can continue where you left off. Depending on where you got the game, it may also be synchronized between your devices by your platform's cloud save service:
Privacy: Synchronization is performed by your platform's own cloud service under your existing account and can be disabled in that platform's settings. This data is strictly for gameplay continuity and is never shared with the developer or third parties.

Why: This information is used solely to fix bugs, improve app stability, and guide future development (e.g., deciding which languages to localize based on user demographics).
Only the free, ad-supported edition of Knave Craps — currently offered through the Microsoft Store — displays advertisements, provided by third-party networks including the Microsoft Advertising SDK. Paid editions of the game, including those distributed through Steam and the Apple App Store, contain no third-party advertising.
Data transmission: Knave Craps does not provide your location or user identity to the ad network. Advertisers may be able to infer your general location based on your IP address when ads are retrieved from the internet.
Third-Party Collection: When ads are retrieved from the internet, the Advertising SDKs may collect anonymous data to serve relevant ads. This process is governed by the Advertising SDK's own privacy policies.
All purchases — the game itself and any in-app purchases — are processed entirely by the store you bought it from (Microsoft Store, Steam, or the Apple App Store). We never receive or store your payment details; we receive only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase was completed.
Knave Craps runs on top of services operated by the platform you obtained it from — such as cloud saves, achievements, and purchase processing. Those services are governed by each platform's own privacy policy:
